this is something of a note to myself, but last semester, my creative writing class had an assignment that was essentially “create anything for 30 days in a row,” and thats partially why i made this [quartz] website, to be the container for that.

it’s now into the second month of my summer break, and i have worked on music, i’ve done 18 exports i think since june 1, but i feel as though i’m taking things too slowly. i am still scared almost to work on music, for fear of it being bad.

my goal from now on is to export something 5-7 days a week (i would say every day, but odds are i’ll be busy on the weekends). i don’t care so much if it’s perfect, i think the practice is good, and furthermore i don’t neccissarily have to use everything i make. if i save every demo like a commit, then i can always revert, and i think that’s a good safety net :)
